By downloading, installing, or using the AudioMaya mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
AudioMaya is an audio guide application that provides narrated tours of archaeological sites, starting with the Tulum Maya ruins in Mexico. The App offers audio content in 8 languages (English, Spanish, German, French, Italian, Portuguese, Chinese, and Japanese) with GPS-based location features.
3. Purchase and Payment
The App offers a one-time in-app purchase for lifetime access to all content. Purchases are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store, depending on your device. All payments are final and non-refundable, except as required by applicable law or the respective app store's refund policy.
4. License and Restrictions
Upon purchase, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the App's content for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:
- Copy, modify, or distribute the audio content
- Use the content for commercial purposes
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code
- Share your account or purchase with others
5. Intellectual Property
All content in the App, including audio recordings, text, images, and software, is owned by AudioMaya or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
6. Location Services
The App uses GPS and location services to enhance your experience at archaeological sites. Location data is processed locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers. You can disable location services at any time through your device settings.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with all devices. Historical information is provided for educational purposes and may not reflect the latest archaeological research.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AudioMaya shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
